Orange Beer Mocktail

Make the most of your non-alcoholic beer by giving it an extra sweet note with this fruity mocktail. The sweet syrup is easy to make, and a simple addition of fresh mint leaves is a brilliant way to bring out the zesty citrus flavours of our fresh orange juice. Why not make your own orange juice with our fresh oranges?

What you'll need

  • 1tbsp simple syrup
  • A few mint leaves
  • 230ml freshly-squeezed orange juice (approximately 3 oranges)
  • 170ml non-alcoholic beer

How to make

  1. Start by making a simple syrup by adding equal measures of water and sugar to a small saucepan, and bringing to a boil
  2. Stir on a medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved, then reduce to simmer for five minutes, while continuing to stir.
  3. Leave to steep, then chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  4. Pour the orange juice into a measuring cup, and add the chopped mint leaves. Leave to chill in the fridge for 15 minutes, then sieve into a chilled glass.
  5. Pour in the non-alcoholic beer and syrup, then simply stir, and garnish with some fresh mint leaves.
