Decadent French Toast

This quick and easy breakfast classic is a tasty treat made all the more delicious when created with decadent double cream and served with sweet honey and fresh organic blueberries.

What you'll need

  • 2 eggs
  • 2-4 tsps honey
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 35ml Tom Parker Double Cream
  • A handful fresh blueberries
  • 4 thick slices of your favourite bread

How to make

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and double cream, adding the cinnamon to the mixture.
  2. Melt a small cube of butter in a pan on medium heat.
  3. Cut the bread into hearts and soak each slice in the egg and cream mixture, making sure both sides are coated.
  4. Place the bread in the pan and lightly fry for two to five minutes on both sides until golden.
  5. Serve immediately, topped with a drizzle of honey and a scattering of fresh blueberries.
