Jimmy Doherty's Farm

Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park

Jimmy Doherty, famous for Food Unwrapped and Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast, has been farming in Suffolk with his wife Michaela for over a decade. Originally starting a livestock farm rearing British rare-breeds, their farm is now home to a wildlife park hosting a range of animals along with their now over 300 strong herd of rare-breed pigs.

As their farm’s expanded, what’s remained the same is their passion and commitment to sustainable farming. Practicing free range techniques and caring for the British countryside are at the heart of what they do. We’re really excited to be working with Jimmy as we’re both all about championing the same values of delicious, sustainable food and drink sourced from genuinely brilliant producers.

As for the turkeys, for Jimmy, one of the most important things in getting the very best turkey is the breed. All of his turkeys are a slow growing bronze breed who spend their days as nature intended; roaming the pastures foraging their very own salad bar to enjoy alongside their natural corn and soya diet. The mature free range birds can be over twice the age of standard turkeys which means they have a lot more flavour.

These turkeys really will be the crowning glory of your Christmas feast this year with all the treats and trimmings on the side.
