A Wholesome Bowl of Overnight Oats

Start your mornings right with tasty overnight oats. Soaking porridge oats in milk overnight in the fridge turns these everyday items into a real treat. They’re great to make in advance when you know you’ll be strapped for time in the morning, plus make it in a lidded jar and take them on the go. No more excuses for skipping breakfast!

What you'll need

  • Half a cup yoghurt or yoghurt alternative
  • Half a cup berries or sliced fruit
  • 1 cup organic porridge oats or an oaty granola
  • 1tsp honey
  • 1 cup alternative milk

How to make

  1. 1. Tip the oats into a large jar or bowl and pour over the milk, the oats should be completely covered so add a touch more milk if necessary.
  2. 2. Spoon the yoghurt over to top, then add the sliced fruit, a teaspoon of honey, or any other natural sweetener and give it a good mix.
  3. 3. Cover the bowl or jar and store in the fridge for at least two hours but preferably overnight.
  4. 4.Once you’ve taken your oats out of the fridge, garnish with extra fruit if you wish and tuck in!
