Bircher Muesli with Pineapple and Benecol

A delicious breakfast that’s ready straight out the fridge after a quick and easy preparation the night before, this recipe makes the most of Benecol’s sweet drinks and goes just as well with any of your favourite granolas and fruits as it does oats and pineapple. You can even add a helping of your favourite jam or marmalade to the mix. Have fun getting creative with this fun and easy recipe that’s bound to transform your breakfast plans.

What you'll need

  • 40g oats
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 Benecol Yogurt Drink Strawberry or Peach & Apricot
  • 1 tbsp/ 8g toasted flaked almonds
  • 110g fresh pineapple chopped

How to make

  1. Place the oats in a small serving bowl, pour over the yoghurt drink and stir to mix. Cover and refrigerate overnight to let the yoghurt drink soak into the oats.
  2. Stir the pineapple into the oat mix and serve topped with the almonds and brown sugar, or any other fruity toppings or preserves you want to add to the mix.
