We are incredibly proud of our milkmen and women for not only being some of the hardest workers aroud but also for the positive impact they have on many people’s lives within their communities.

This year alone burglaries have been foiled, animals saved and little things have been taken care of when our customers needed it most. No matter how big or small, acts of kindness can mean the world of difference. Which is why we want to celebrate those who are making the effort to go above and beyond to deliver a truly great service.

Our annual Milk & More Milkman of the Year award is a chance to show your appreciation if your milkman or woman has really surpassed expectations. Terms and conditions:

1. This promotion is only open to Milk & More customers resident in Great Britain aged 18 years or over. Proof of age and residence may be required.

2. Promotion excludes employees and their immediate families of: the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; any agencies or suppliers involved with the promotion; and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.

3. Details of how to enter and advertising materials form part of the terms and conditions. By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions.

4. This promotion is open to customers of Milk & More who submit their nomination for Milk & More Milkman of the Year 2018 by completing a nomination form. Both the customer and their nominated milkman may be eligible for the chance to win a prize if the customer complies with the entry criteria set out in these terms.

5. To enter customers must nominate their milkman as follows: Offline Customers: leave out nomination form for milkman to collect. Online Customers: complete the nomination form online at On the nomination form, entrants must provide their name, address, their milkman’s name and in no more than 30 words tell us why their milkman should be Milk & More Milkman of the Year 2018. All sections of the nomination form must be completed in full.

6. Only one entry permitted per person during the Promotional Period. All entries must be submitted during the Promotional Period (as defined in paragraph 7).

7. The “Promotional Period” starts on 10 September 2018 and closes on 6th October 2018. Entries submitted after 6th October 2018 will not be accepted.

8. Only one entry permitted per person during the Promotional period. Internet access required for online Milk & More customers.

9. 4 (four) prize winners will be selected from all valid entries received by the closing date as follows:

  • The Judging Panel (defined below) will select a short list of 4 (four) milkmen (one from each of Milk & More’s sales regions) who, in the sole opinion of the Judging Panel, meet the “Judging Criteria” based on the information provided by the entrants (each being a “Regional Winner”);
  • The Judging Panel will select 1 (one) overall milkman from the 4 (four) Regional Winners who, in the sole opinion of the Judging Panel, , meet the “Judging Criteria” based on the information provided by the entrants (“Overall Winner”) and
  • All entrants who: a) validly nominated the Overall Winner; and b) are a customer of the Overall Winner will be entered into a prize draw. The prize draw will take place on 30th November 2018 and 1 (one) prize winner will be selected at random by an automatic computer generated random draw programme (“Winning Nominator”).

The “Judging Panel” is made up of 3 (three) internal judges and 1 (one) external judge independent from the Promoter. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final. The names of the judges can be obtained by sending a SAE to the address set out in paragraph 15 within 1 month of the closing date of the promotion.

The winning customer will be subject to a verification process to confirm that the winner satisfy these terms and conditions. Following the verification process, the winner will be notified in writing by 5th December 2018. If any prize winner does not respond to the notification of their win within 28 (twenty eight) days of the initial notification, this will result in their prize being forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected based on a reserve chosen at the time of the original draw and under the same terms and conditions as the original draw. The new prize winner will be notified within 5 (five) working days of the re-draw.

10. The “Judging Criteria” for the “Overall Winner” consists of 5 (five) categories which assess the overall performance of the 4 (four) Regional Winners. The categories will cover; customer service, business development, product awareness, special contributions and character. The “Overall Winner” will be the milkman who is deemed to fulfil or perform the highest within all of the above categories.

11. There are 6 (six) prizes in total available:

  • Each of the 4 (four) Regional Winners will receive £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds Sterling) worth of Compliments Vouchers. Vouchers are subject to Edenred Compliments Vouchers terms and conditions and retailer restrictions see for further details. The expiry date for each individual voucher is printed on the front or back of each voucher. All vouchers must be used by their expiry date as they cannot be replaced. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given. Vouchers cannot be used towards payment of store cards, store accounts or to purchase gift vouchers within stores.
  • The Overall Winner will receive a further £750 (seven hundred and fifty pounds Sterling) worth of Edenred Compliments Vouchers. Vouchers are subject to Compliments Vouchers terms and conditions and retailer restrictions see for further details.
  • The Winning Nominator will receive 1x (one) Cartwright & Butler Ampleforth Hamper (£250 RRP).

12. Prizes will be despatched (where required) to the Regional Winners, the Overall Winner and the Winning Nominator by registered post within 28 days of the prize notification. The Promoter will not be liable for non-delivery of prizes caused by the provision of wrong information, postal disputes or other causes beyond its control.

13. The prizes in whole or in part are non-transferable. No alternative prizes will be offered in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute or provide a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners as set out above.

14. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained by a winner (and/or any person(s) who benefits from a prize) as a result of a winner’s participation in the promotion, redemption of the prize, or any other loss or damage in connection with or in any way relating to a prize.

15. The Promoter does not take responsibility for, recommend or guarantee the performance of any contractual or other obligations of any third parties associated with the promotion and shall not be liable for any acts or omissions (including fraud) by any third party.

16. The winners’ names and counties can be obtained by sending a SAE to: Milk & More team, Milk & More Milkman of the Year 2018 Winners, Milk & More, 14-40 Victoria Road, Aldershot, Hants GU11 1TH after 30.11.18 for a period of 3 months. Entries to this address will NOT be accepted.

17. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is attempting to circumvent these terms and conditions for example, by the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, or in any way whatsoever, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. All entries will be monitored closely by online systems and any entries in breach of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) will be disqualified. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the terms and conditions.

18. The Promoter reserves the right to verify any prize claim.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or suspend, vary or cancel the prize draw at any stage without notice in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.

20. The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. Winners may be required to participate in unpaid publicity as required by the Promoter.

22. By entering the Promotion the entrant agrees that, if they become a prize winner, their first name, county and country will be published by the Promoter on its social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, and in other media at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

23. The Promoter and Data Controller is Muller UK & Ireland Group LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England with partnership number OC384928 whose registered office is at Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3SQ (“Müller”). Entries to this address will NOT be accepted. Milk & More is part of Müller.

24. The Promoter will collect personal information from the entrant for the purposes of administering the promotion and may share this personal information with our trusted third parties for the purpose of administering the promotion. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy

We may also process personal data for the purpose of contacting the winner and/or publicising information about the prize winner by post and on social media (as required under clause 15 and 21) in accordance with the privacy policy of the relevant entity. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to the collection and use their data in this manner. Upon entry, as part of the registration process as a new customer, entrants will also ask if they would like to receive future marketing communications from the Promoter. 25. If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision with be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause will not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

26. Late, illegible, incomplete, corrupt or defaced entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost or delayed entries and proof of dispatch or electronic submission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will do all that is reasonably can to ensure that the Milk & More website is functioning correctly throughout the Promotional Period. However, the Promoter will not be responsible for defects or malfunctions in the operation of the website howsoever caused which affect the operation of the promotion.

27. English law applies and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
